Welcome to my website.

I immigrated to the central highlands of México twenty-five years ago; began to photograph and write in earnest. Life became more interesting–learning a new culture and language, looking, listening, and seeing life in a new way.

I traveled to and photographed many places in my adopted country though mostly concentrated on my own neighborhood, city and surrounding countryside: animals, villages, rodeos, religious processions and the local culture– la cultura popular. Two of my current interests are children participating in The Holy Week–La Semana Santa and the land and life along our local river, the Rio Laja, which is inundated half of the year by rising waters dammed by the Presa Allende.
